Figures use list prices. Commission is 30% of what the customer actually pays, so payments with a discount or regional price earn proportionally less.

What we ask in return

Out of scope
- Lifetime commissions (we pay on each customer's first 12 months)
- Existing customers signing up via your link don't count (only new customers)
- Self-referrals (using your own link to subscribe to your own account)
- Bulk SEO link farms, blackhat affiliate networks, or "cashback site" syndicates
- Cookie-stuffing or other automated attribution manipulation
Program terms
These terms apply to every approved affiliate and partner. Together with the email confirming your referral code, they are the complete terms; there is no separate agreement to sign. Last updated October 30, 2026.
- Commission. 30% of every payment a referred customer makes during the 12 months after their first payment. Monthly and 3-month subscriptions, renewals, upgrades and hour packs all count. Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually pays, after discounts and excluding taxes.
- Who counts as your referral. A new customer who arrives through your
?ref=YOURCODElink and creates an account or buys within 30 days. Existing customers and self-referrals don't count. - Refunds and chargebacks. Refunded or disputed payments don't earn commission. If we have already paid commission on one, we deduct it from your next payout.
- Payouts. Monthly, on the 1st, for the previous month's commission, by PayPal, Wise or US bank transfer, once your balance reaches $50. Smaller balances carry over to the next month.
- Tax. We collect a W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (non-US) before your first payout. US affiliates earning $600+ in a calendar year receive a 1099.
- Promotion rules. Disclose the partnership, don't run paid search ads on our brand keywords, don't spam the link, and don't use cookie-stuffing or other attribution manipulation. We can end a partnership that breaks these rules and withhold commission earned through the breach.
- Changes and ending. We'll email you at least 30 days before changing these terms. Either side can end the partnership at any time; we pay all commission earned up to the end date.

How long do I earn on each customer?
For 12 months from their first payment. Every monthly renewal, 3-month payment and hour pack they buy in that window earns you 30%. After 12 months that customer stops earning commission.
Is it the same deal for companies, job boards and comparison sites?
Yes. Everyone we approve gets the same 30% for 12 months. Our Partnerships page covers the other ways we work with companies, such as two-way referrals and cohort access.
How is attribution tracked? Is it cookie-based or account-based?
Both. We set a first-party cookie when a visitor arrives with ?ref=YOURCODE in the URL. The cookie lasts 30 days. We also tag any new account created in that window with your referral code, so attribution survives even if the user clears cookies between the first click and the purchase.
Is there an agreement to sign?
No. The program terms on this page, plus the email confirming your referral code, are the complete terms. If your company needs a signed contract, tell us when you apply.
Can I negotiate a higher commission rate for a large channel?
Yes. For channels with 100k+ subscribers in our target audience we agree custom terms, such as a higher rate, an exclusive discount code for your audience, or a dedicated video review. Email us with your audience details.
What if my audience is non-English?
We have pages in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi and Chinese, and your referral code works on all of them.
I want to be paid for a review itself, not commission.
We have a separate sponsored-content arrangement for that. Email us with your usual sponsored rates and audience details and we'll take a look. We don't do exclusive deals.
Tax forms?
US-based affiliates earning $600+ in a calendar year receive a 1099. International affiliates self-report to their local tax authority. We collect a W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (non-US) before the first payout.
