Why this video matters
Most "AI interview" tools are Chrome extensions that get caught the moment an interviewer triggers a screen-share. CoPilot Interview runs as a separate desktop window with adjustable opacity and screen-share-safe rendering. In this demo you can see the assistant providing real-time guidance while the candidate's shared screen shows only their code editor.
This is also the place to point out what AI assistants cannot do for you. The candidate still has to type the code, explain trade-offs, and answer follow-up questions about edge cases the AI surfaces. The tool is a backup brain for recall under pressure, not a replacement for engineering judgment.
